on planning for balloon decorations
- Make sure
the hall is available before time - decorators will need time
to setup. Some halls will have other events before yours, making
it difficult or impossible for decorators to complete their job.
- The higher
the ceiling the better. Halls that have tall ceilings allow for
more dramatic balloon arches and designs.
- Three colors
section. Two colors can become overpowering, select three colors
for balloon columns. Two main colors and one accent color.
- Grand ballrooms
have huge ceilings, use five balloon clusters on tables, instead
of three. Increases the height of balloons, while making the event
- Almost every
hall discourages balloon decorators from attaching fixtures to
walls or ceilings. This may prevent a balloon drop being rigged.
charges - Since stands, poles, bases are used to create these
designs, a charge is accrued, for setting up and removing. Balloon
decorators will have to return to collect their materials, so
a fee is almost always charged for breakdown.
- Can not
afford a balloon designer then consider your own do it yourself
