Pumpkin’s before Turkey’s

Heads may roll this Halloween night

As spring gives way to summer, summer fades into the colors of fall, so too does Halloween pass to the next major holiday Thanksgiving. The blood and gore give way to sweet family values and weekend football. Sugary treats are replaced with comforting apple and pumpkin pie. Candy corn grows to become Thanksgiving cornstalks decor.  It took weeks of building, hours of setup, and at the stroke of twelve, it is gone until next year.

Balloon entertainers replenish their balloons, and think “what should I do?” I have all this free time on my hands. No more running from event to event, scurrying here and there.  But, Halloween has not passed yet. We still have all that candy to be had.

So with hours in hand, we wait, scheming, and planning to make the scariest day last until the night.  Let the pumpkin rule this Halloween night; watch out for turkeys because you’re our next delight.

Happy Halloween!
