I love Halloween as an entertainer. It is fun because of all the options I have to be creative. Ninety-nine percent of the time, I focus on the cute balloon figures, but Halloween allows me the opportunity to explore the dark, creepy, and ghoulish side of Halloween. This is the only time of the year that the more ghoulish you make it, the happier kids are, and the parents are not offended.
It is like the Simpson Halloween special where everything goes terribly wrong, but in the end, everyone is happy. Back in the ’80s, Roseanne had some of the best, wacked out Halloween episodes. You could tell the producers liked Halloween, and it showed in their work. This can be said about me. Halloween has been one of my favorite holidays because it takes the normal and puts a twist on it. This one day of the year, people dress and act like…. well, like entertainers. It is great to see the world acting and looking a little silly like me.
