This is a variation of the Tulip. I will show you how to make the lacy collar to turn the Tulip into a daffodil. This is not a complex technique, but it’s not the easiest either! The trick is keeping track of the first bubble you put your hand through. Mark it with a small dot on the top of the loop if you need to.
Step 1. Fully inflate TWO yellow 160s and burp and tie into a loop.
Step 2. Each 160 need to have THREE equal loops.
Step 3. Twist them together to form a six-petal cluster.
Step 4. I have attached it to the Tulip.
Step 4. Reach through your first loop and grab the top of the next loop pulling only to the top of the loop DOWN and through. Put your hand through the loop you just pulled down and grab the next loop pulling the TOP of it down and through just like the first. Continue to do this until each loop has been pulled through. The last one to be pulled down and through is the first loop you put your hand in. It should have a mark on it to tell you that it is the first one.
Step 5. The bottom of the collar. Notice how there is a pattern to each loop. One side of the loop is over, and the other one is under the next loop.
